Power Yoga Classes at Studio Yoga are taught in the spirit of Ashtanga Yoga, with elements of the Iyengar, Jois, Desikachar approaches, as well as our own personal Yoga practices and studies. Our interest here at Studio Yoga, is in how the adaptive nature of Power Yoga enhances the human spirit and affects the quality of our experience. We are excited about teaching in this diverse community of residents, professionals, live-work and production people, artists and students. Studio Yoga offers a place for you to venture from your beaten path, to de-stress, work your body, and rejuvenate your spirit. Classes are based on progressive adaptation and new beginners through advanced practitioners are welcome. All Studio Yoga classes are adapted for the range of those present. If you have not been to the studio, you are invited to come and see the space. The studio is open 15 minutes before each scheduled class. Everyone is welcome.

What You Need For Class
  • ​Wear comfortable clothing such as sweat pants, yoga pants, shorts or biking shorts so that you have freedom to move your hips and legs. Also wear a comfortable tank top or t-shirt.
  • Class is done barefoot so wear easy to take off footwear.
  • Make sure your stomach is empty and bring water.
  • To end class we do relaxation laying down flat on the floor, during this pose your body cools down. If you tend to be cold, bring something warm such as a jacket or socks to keep warm.
  • Yoga mats, straps and blocks are provided. If you have a mat and a preferred strap and/or block, you are welcome to use them. 
  • During class please silence cell phones and pagers.
